Hello there! I’m Emily, a cheerful Canadian girl with a love for art, science, and a little bit of everything else. As my username suggests, I’m deeply enraptured by chiropterology, having begun working with the Vancouver Island Community Bat Program when I was 15. I am trained to handle bats and have coordinated/assisted in keeping track of local populations, installing bat boxes, and educating about our dear flying friends in public speeches.I’m an optimistic and super nerdy person. I love sunshine, cuddles, parties and bright colors just as much as I love deep-dives into Wikipedia, biology, puzzles, and collecting dead insects! I believe in kindness, compassion, and the goodness of people, and so I’m pretty chill and friendly; if you ever wanna chat, poke fun at the wonky eye I drew or just say hi, go for it!   • Random Generators | Really extensive random generators to help with character design and general inspiration! My anthro generator is the most elaborate on the 'net; give it a look! Currently working on the random insect generator that is already several hundred thousand species strong.

  • Bat Species Database | A visual encyclopedia of all the bat species in the world. Made mostly for artists who can't choose a species 'cause they don't know where to start looking!

I can't force you to abide by any of it, but they are my boundaries!

  • Fan art of any kind would make my week!! Feel free to do whatever you want. I'm not squeamish in the slightest, I'm totally cool with heavy gore, body horror, suggestive themes, nudity, experimentation, eyestrain, abstraction, species swaps*, tweaking designs to fit your style...I think half the fun of getting art from people is seeing their interpretations! As long as they're abstractly recognizable go wild!

  • My commissions and designs have no rules attached to them! All I ask is that you don't lie and claim that my work is yours. Otherwise I believe in full buyer freedom.

  • If you want to use my (artwork for anything, be it profile pics, tracing, making a collage with it, whatever, you're free to do so. All I ask is that you're open and honest about it and don't profit off it if it isn't transformative. This doesn't apply to commission/trade works or OCs themselves; those are intended to be more private!

  • In addition to the above, AI use is okay IF you're not profiting off of it (that's both illegal and immoral), not using it for AI-generated videos (potentially bad for the environment and also scary and I don't like them) and not using it for deep-faking, voice-cloning, or other misinformation. As above, this doesn't apply to commission/trade works; please do not use those at all as they belong to other people.

  • Please ask before depicting any of my OCs in a pornographic manner. I'm extremely sex-positive and won't bite your head off; in fact, I love that you feel that way! I just don't reciprocate when it comes to the grand majority of them, you get me? My only hard nos are minors and characters that don't pass the Harkness test.

  • In addition to the above, please don't ship/pair 1) relatives with each other, be it by blood or step-whatevers; 2) minors with anybody; 3) anything that doesn't pass the Harkness test with anybody.

  • *Please do not draw any of my non-human OCs as humans.

  • Please don't claim my work as your own. As stated above, you're free to use it, just be honest about where it came from and don't profit unless it's transformative!
